Am 25. März ist es soweit und ein neuer Battlefield 4 DLC wird released. Zumindest Premium Member können ab diesem Datum schon mal in den neuen DLC reinschnuppern.
Mit dem Titel „Naval Strike“ ist die Marschrichtung ja schon vorgegeben, es dreht sich alles um den Kampf am Wasser. Mit im Packet sind vier neu Maps namens Wave Breaker, Lost Islands, Operation Mortar und Nansha Strike.
Wave Breaker’s central submarine base is designed as a melting-pot for maximum chaos, as jet-skis, attack boats and even helicopters can find their way inside to dodge or destroy infantry. Lost Islands may be the best map for use of the new hovercraft, as shallows join lots of tiny islands and islets together.
Operation Mortar combines a ruined hill-fortress with tunnels and walkways featuring medieval-style mounted cannons which are clumsy, but very capable of downing wayward vehicles. Nansha Strike is the last, and appears the least daring of the four maps. It constitutes a middle island holding a smattering of construction and building cover, while the sea surrounding it is home to lesser islands better suited to naval warfare.
Zusätzlich gibt es noch vier neue Waffen und ein Hovercraft im Packet. Pünktlich zum Start gibt es auch einen neuen Trailer.
